Your mission
- Develop and implement strategies to drive the growth and profitability of the company in Senegal
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective processes across all departments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local farmers, suppliers, government officials, and international buyers
- Ensure all operations comply with local and international regulations and standards
- Manage the financial performance of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with agricultural trading and operations
Your profile
- Degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field - MBA preferred
- At least 8-10 years of experience in the agricultural trading sector, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
- Deep understanding of the agricultural market in Senegal and West Africa, including key commodities, supply chains, and regulatory frameworks
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in financial analysis and management
- Entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinker, and results-oriented
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region
- Previous experience working in Senegal or West Africa is highly desirable
- Well-established network within the agricultural sector, including connections with local farmers, traders, and government agencies
- Fluency in French and English is essential
