For one of our clients, a leading global company operating in the agricultural commodities, we are looking for an experienced Grains Operator to be based in Dubai.
Your mission:
- Manage all post-trade operations for grain shipments
- Oversee trade finance processes: letters of credit, avalized drafts, discounting, and bank guarantees, in close coordination with partner banks
- Track and coordinate shipments with charterers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with financial institutions
- Serve as the central point of contact between the Paris office, African clients, and Asian partners
- Identify and implement improvements in operational and financial workflows
Your profile:
- Solid experience in trading operations for grains or other agri-commodities
- Expertise in trade finance instruments: LCs, documentary collections, discounting
- Deep understanding of African grain trade flows and market dynamics
- Strong stakeholder management skills, especially with banks and logistics providers
- Fluent in French, with excellent command of English
