Your mission
- Trading and Merchandising: Take proprietary positions in cash and futures markets, and manage commodity positions within prescribed limits.
- European Sourcing: Source commodities from key European markets, specifically France, Germany, and the Baltic states, to meet customer needs and take proprietary positions.
- Market Growth: Identify and capitalize on sustainable market growth opportunities in targeted regions.
- Risk Management: Manage position, contract, and credit exposure risks effectively, in line with company policies.
- Customer Development: Develop customer relationships based on existing demand patterns and growth forecasts in the region.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and other governing laws relevant to the trading activities.
Your profile
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of work experience in the targeted regions, preferably in the grains, nuts, and oilseeds (GNO) sector.
- Educational Qualification: An MBA in Marketing/Trading or a relevant Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Effective risk management skills.
- Excellent networking capabilities.
