Based in either Geneva or Dubai, this role offers an exceptional opportunity to drive your own trading ambitions. You will be entrusted with the grains desk, leveraging your network and expertise to build and grow a sustainable book.

Your mission:

• Originate and execute physical trading flows for grains (wheat, corn, barley, rice, etc.), in line with market trends and client needs
• Identify and seize market opportunities across diverse geographies, ensuring profitability and long-term partnerships
• Negotiate contracts, optimize margins, and manage the complete trading lifecycle – from origination to execution
• Collaborate closely with logistics, shipping, and finance teams to secure seamless delivery and operational excellence
• Act as a trusted counterpart for suppliers and clients, adapting to evolving market dynamics

Profile sought:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in grains trading, regardless of the specific market (origins or destinations)
• A solid and portable portfolio of clients and counterparties – your relationships are your strongest asset
• Strong market acumen and an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to develop your own trading strategies
• Professional English proficiency; additional languages are an asset
• Resilient and proactive, able to navigate a fast-moving, high-stakes environment
