For one of our clients, a trading house based in Switzerland, we are seeking to recruit a Coffee Marketer with a focus on the Balkans markets.
Your Mission :
- Develop and manage green coffee sales across the Balkans markets.
- Build and strengthen relationships with roasters, distributors and industrial coffee buyers.
- Increase volumes, revenues and profitability through new and existing customers.
- Market Arabica and Robusta origins according to customer needs and market opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, customer demand, competitors’ activity and price movements.
- Negotiate commercial terms and coordinate with trading, logistics and finance teams.
- Represent the company during client meetings, market visits and industry events.
Your Profile :
- Proven experience in coffee sales, marketing or trading, ideally in green coffee.
- Strong knowledge of the Balkans coffee markets and local buying dynamics.
- Existing network with roasters, distributors or green coffee buyers in the region.
- Good understanding of Arabica and Robusta coffees, origins, qualities and differentials.
- Strong commercial drive, negotiation skills and relationship-building ability.
- Fluent in English; any Balkan language is a strong advantage.
- French is a plus.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the region.
