We are supporting an international trading house that, for more than 15 years, has been successfully active in the physical trade of grains and oilseeds (wheat, barley, corn, soybeans, sunflower seeds, rapeseed). Agile and entrepreneurial, yet now entering a new phase of structuring, this independent company currently relies on a team of about 30 people based in Geneva, while pursuing a targeted expansion into strategic markets. The right candidate will be someone who brings both market access and a solid track record, supported by a robust platform while remaining focused on agriculture.
Your mission:
- Manage and grow a physical trading portfolio in key grains and oilseeds
- Oversee origination, FOB purchases, and C&F sales with international counterparties
- Take full ownership of P&L with strict risk management and disciplined execution.
- Identify new commercial opportunities in high-potential regions (Black Sea, Africa, Asia, Middle East, etc.)
- Actively contribute to team development and embody a collaborative, entrepreneurial approach
Your Profile:
- 8–10 years of proven experience in physical grain trading (ideally wheat, barley, corn) and/or oilseeds
- Strong and verifiable track record in P&L delivery
- Entrepreneurial mindset with high autonomy in deal management.
- Demonstrated stability in career path and ability to perform in competitive environments
