For one of our clients, we are seeking an experienced Palm Oil Trader to join their team in Switzerland.
Your mission:
- Execute physical and financial palm oil trades globally, managing contracts, pricing, and negotiation with suppliers and buyers.
- Monitor market trends, supply/demand forecasts, and geopolitical factors affecting palm oil pricing.
- Implement effective risk management strategies to hedge positions and mitigate market volatility.
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers, refineries, and customers.
- Work closely with logistics, finance, and risk management teams to ensure smooth operations and alignment with business goals.
Your profile:
- Minimum 5 years in palm oil trading.
- Strong knowledge of palm oil supply chains, pricing, and global trade dynamics.
- Analytical, strategic thinking, and excellent negotiation/communication skills.
- Fluent in English; any other language is a plus.
