For one of our client active in the agricultural world, we are seeking to recruit a Sugar and/or Ethanol Analyst to be based in Switzerland

Your mission:

• Responsible for researching, analyzing, and forecasting trends in the sugar/ethanol markets
• Conduct thorough research on sugar/ethanol industry trends, including market demand, supply chain dynamics, and pricing fluctuations
• Analyze data from various sources to identify patterns, opportunities, and risks within the sugar/ethanol markets
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations detailing findings, insights, and recommendations for stakeholders
• Stay updated on regulatory changes, technological advancements, and environmental factors affecting the sugar/ethanol industry
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for optimizing sugar/ethanol production, distribution, and sales

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Economics, Business, or related field. Advanced degree preferred
• Proven 5 years of experience in sugar/ethanol analysis, market research, or related fields
• Keen understanding of agricultural economics, sugar/ethanol production processes, and global market dynamics
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation and statistical analysis
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
• Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for staying abreast of industry developments
• Proficiency in data analysis software (Python) and Microsoft Office suite
• English proficiency required, any other language an asset
