For one of our clients, a well-established trading company, we are looking for a Grains operator to be based in Paris.
Your mission:
- Ensure secure payments (credit insurance, letters of credit), manage invoicing and payment tracking, and validate supplier invoices.
- Draft, verify, and execute contracts (payment terms, clauses, quality). Manage external provider relationships (silos, freight forwarders, etc.) in coordination with traders.
- Oversee contract execution (purchases, sales, transport), ensure accurate data entry in systems, and track inventory in port silos.
- Ensure compliance and submit necessary documents to banks and insurers.
- Update data in software (contracts, invoices, provisions), manage export documentation, track costs, and monitor bid/performance bonds.
Your profile:
- Degree in International Business/Export/Logistics (Bac +3/+5).
- 3+ years’ experience, preferably in commodity trading.
- Knowledge of grain and oilseed contracts is a plus.
- Proficient in English.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.
