For one of our clients, an agricultural trading company, we are looking for a Vegoil Trader to be based in Switzerland.
Your mission:
- Execute buy and sell orders, negotiate deals, and develop the vegoil trading book
- Monitor and mitigate trading risks, including market, credit, and operational risks
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, buyers, and industry stakeholders to expand networks and enhance trading opportunities
- Negotiate and finalize trading contracts, ensuring terms and conditions align with company and client needs
- Prepare and maintain accurate trading records, contracts, and documentation in compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Work to optimize profit margins while upholding our commitment to sustainable and ethical trading practices
- Provide regular updates and reports to the management team on market developments, trading activities, and profitability
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven 8 years of experience in vegoil trading
- In-depth knowledge of vegoil markets, pricing, and supply chain dynamics
- Knowledge and previous exposure with African markets is mandatory
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, dynamic markets
- Fluent in English mandatory, any other languages an asset
