For one of our clients, an established international physical commodities trading company, we are recruiting a Junior Commodity Trader with 2 years of relevant experience. Join an experienced trading desk, contribute to live transactions, and develop the skills to progressively manage a trading book.
Your role
- Monitor markets, assess opportunities, and prepare pricing and margin calculations.
- Support sourcing, commercial offers, and transaction execution.
- Coordinate contracts, shipments, documentation, and payments with Logistics and Finance.
- Build relationships with suppliers and buyers.
Your profile
- 2 years of experience in commodity trading or a closely related commercial role.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and knowledge of Incoterms and trade logistics.
- Fluent English, commercial curiosity, and a proactive approach.
- Based in Dubai or willing to relocate.
