For one of our clients, a large trading company, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Ethanol Trading Analyst to be based in Rotterdam.
Your mission:
- Prepare reports and analysis on trading activity, including P&L, hedging, and position tracking
- Support the trading team in the monitoring of orders' status and reconciling trade data
- Maintain trading systems and databases, ensuring that data is accurate and up-to-date
- Assist in the development and maintenance of trading strategies and risk management tools to optimize the profitability of the trading desk
- Analyzing data from multiple sources to predict changes in consumer demand
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics, or a related field
- Between 2 and 4 years max of experience on a similar role within the agricultural commodity markets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and identify trends and patterns
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously
- Strong IT and programming skills; proficiency in Excel mandatory, other data analysis tools and trading software a plus
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Any other languages is an asset
