Job details
For one of our clients, an oil products trading company, we are looking for a natural gas trader (pipeline) to be based in Switzerland.
Your mission:
- Trade natural gas in pipeline markets, optimizing pricing, flow management, and risk mitigation
- Analyze market conditions and supply-demand factors to inform trading decisions
- Implement risk management strategies using financial instruments (futures, options, swaps)
- Manage physical and financial positions, ensuring profitability and regulatory compliance
- Build relationships with counterparties and brokers to gain market insights
- Report on trading performance and market trends
- Ensure compliance with market regulations and internal policies.
Your Profile:
- 10 years of experience in natural gas trading, preferably in the pipeline sector
- Strong knowledge of pipeline operations, pricing, and transportation
- Analytical with the ability to interpret market data and trends
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- Proficient in English (additional languages a plus)
