For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced Oil Products Trader to develop and execute trading strategies in the EMEA markets, focusing on oil products. You will manage P&L, mitigate exposure, and ensure compliance with risk policies.
Your mission:- Develop and implement trading strategies based on market trends and supply-demand dynamics for oil products
- Build and expand trading desk operations, leveraging networks to identify growth opportunities
- Negotiate and finalize trading agreements with counterparties
- Monitor market activity, generate reports, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders
- Manage an autonomous trading book and generate consistent P&L
- Reference markets: mainly North EU, Med, Africa, Middle East
Your profile:
- 10+ years of experience in oil products trading with a proven track record
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of global energy markets and geopolitical factorsÂ
- Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Proficient in trading platforms and software tools
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Autonomous with excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate
