For one of our clients, an international trading company, we are looking to recruit an experienced Proprietary Trader to join their team based in Dubai.
Your mission:
- Develop and execute trading strategies using the company’s own capital
- Analyze market trends, supply-demand dynamics, and geopolitical factors to identify trading opportunities.
- Leverage in-house capital to trade energy assets, focusing on arbitrage and short-term price fluctuations.
- Manage risk and optimize P&L.
- Utilize trading platforms and technology for efficient execution and real-time market analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams to stay aligned with trading goals and market outlook.
Your profile:
- 5-10 years of experience in energy trading ideally, with a proven track record.
- Strong knowledge of global energy markets and commodities.
- Analytical, tech-savvy, and comfortable in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficient in trading platforms and market tools.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Fluency in English is required; any other language is a plus.
