For one of our clients, we are seeking an Oil Products Trader based in Geneva.
YOUR MISSION
- Develop and execute trading strategies for oil products, factoring in market trends and supply-demand dynamics.
- Build and expand trading desk operations, focusing on oil products and spot business opportunities.
- Utilize your professional network as well as internal connections to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Manage P&L, minimize exposure, and ensure adherence to risk management policies and industry regulations.
- Negotiate and finalize trading agreements with counterparties, securing favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor market activity, generate regular reports, and maintain effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
YOUR PROFILE
- At least 6 years of experience in oil products trading, with a proven track record of success.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of global energy markets, geopolitical influences, and industry trends.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to generate business and drive a strategic plan.
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with a knack for interpreting complex market data.
- Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in trading platforms and relevant software tools.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken), with proficiency in other languages being a plus.
