For one of our clients, an international company active in the trading of metals, we are looking to recruit a Specialty Metals Trader.
Your mission:
- Be responsible for Specialty Metals trading, both on sourcing and marketing
- Manage physical positions and optimize the portfolio across products and regions
- Contribute to define, develop and implement growth strategies in coordination with management
- Evaluate, manage and mitigate market, credit, operational and logistics risks
- Develop and maintain a strong client base (producers, traders, industrial end-users)
- Negotiate purchase and sale contracts and follow up on operational issues regarding delivery, quality, specifications and claims
Your profile:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Metals Trader (specialty/critical metals preferred)
- Proven and successful track record in physical trading and business development
- Very solid commercial mindset with strong negotiation skills
- Self-starter, hands-on and resilient, with a strong team spirit
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills (internal and external)
- Fluent in English; any other language is an asset
- Based in Switzerland (or willing to relocate)
