Senior Fertilizer Trader - Africa

To support their continued expansion, we are recruiting a Senior Fertilizer Trader to join their team. The Senior Fertilizer Trader will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of clients and suppliers in the fertilizer sector, with a primary focus on the African market. This role will be pivotal in expanding the company's market share while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the region. The position requires strategic market insights and a long-term commitment to driving growth.

Mission :

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of clients and suppliers with a focus on African markets.
  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities by conducting in-depth market trend analyses.
  • Negotiate fertilizer purchase and sales contracts, maximizing profitability while managing risk.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, finance, etc.) to ensure seamless contract execution.
  • Actively contribute to the company's business development strategy in Africa and explore new partnership opportunities.
  • Travel frequently to meet clients, suppliers, and partners across Africa.

Profile :

  • At least 10 years of experience as a Fertilizer Trader, with solid expertise in African markets.
  • A well-established network of clients and suppliers in Africa is essential.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously in an entrepreneurial environment with a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Africa and internationally.
  • Fluent in English is mandatory; proficiency in an African language is a plus.
