For one of our clients, an international provider of market data, analytics and trading technology solutions, we are looking for a Sales Specialist to support and develop its client base across the energy and commodities markets.
Your mission:
- Support the commercial development and adoption of desktop trading, market data, communication and analytics solutions within an assigned client portfolio
- Develop strong expertise across the company’s solutions and understand how they support front, middle and back-office workflows
- Build and maintain relationships with existing users through product demonstrations, onboarding sessions, training, account reviews and regular client engagement
- Increase product usage and client retention by identifying adoption gaps, providing tailored support and analysing account activity
- Identify new leads, cross-selling opportunities and additional commercial needs within existing and prospective accounts
- Collaborate with sales teams throughout the pre-sales and post-sales process, providing product expertise and responding to functional or technical client enquiries
- Coordinate new client implementations, user set-ups, product upgrades and feature roll-outs
- Create customised Excel-based tools, reports and solutions according to client requirements
- Gather client feedback, competitor intelligence and product enhancement requests, and communicate them to the relevant product and technology teams
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities and account activity within the CRM
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Previous experience in sales, account management, client services, product support or sales engineering within market data, trading technology, commodities or capital markets
- Good understanding of energy and commodity trading environments, including front, middle and back-office activities
- Familiarity with exchange-traded and OTC markets, derivatives, market data systems or the trade lifecycle would be an advantage
- Strong communication, presentation and training skills, with the ability to engage both commercial and technical stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of VBA, Python or API-based solutions would be an asset
- Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and digital communication tools
- General understanding of financial-market connectivity, systems infrastructure or data integration would be beneficial
- Fluent in French and English
- Self-motivated, client-focused and commercially minded, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects independently
