For one of our clients, a trading house and large industrial entity, we are looking to recruit a Gas & Electricty Analyst to be based in France.

Your mission :

• Conduct thorough analysis of gas and electricity markets, including monitoring price trends, regulatory developments, S&D and market dynamics
• Collect, organize, and analyze relevant data to provide insights into market trends, pricing structures, and competitive landscape
• Develop and maintain models to forecast gas and electricity prices, consumption patterns, and market behavior
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and manage risks associated with market fluctuations and regulatory changes
• Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate key findings, market updates, and recommendations to traders and internal stakeholders
• Stay informed about changes in energy regulations and ensure that the organization remains compliant with relevant industry standards
• Effectively communicate complex market analyses to both technical and non-technical audiences, providing insights that support decision-making processes

Your profile :

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Finance, or Energy Management
• Proven 5 years of experience in energy market analysis, with a focus on gas and electricity
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools
• Knowledge of energy market regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using industry-specific software and databases, programming skills (an asset)
• Fluet in French and English mandatory (both written and spoken)
