Your mission

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the company‚Äôs LPG retail units in Africa
  • Provide visionary leadership to drive business growth, market expansion, and sustainable profitability
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities for LPG in Africa, conducting market research and analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, distributors, and industry partners
  • Oversee all aspects of LPG operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards, regulatory compliance, and efficient supply chain management
  • Implement best practices to optimize operational processes and enhance overall efficiency
  • Develop and manage the budget for the LPG business unit, tracking financial performance against targets and implementing corrective measures as necessary
  • Drive revenue growth through effective pricing strategies and cost management
  • Build, lead and train a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, regulatory bodies, and industry associations, to enhance the company's reputation and foster positive relationships

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus
  • Proven track record of leadership in the LPG or energy industry, with a minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in a senior management role
  • Strong understanding of the African energy market, with a focus on LPG retail distribution and consumption trends
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business growth and achieve financial targets
  • English mandatory (spoken and written) and any other language an asset
