For one of our clients, we are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Head of Trade Finance to join their team in Geneva. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an individual with extensive knowledge of African markets and a strong background in trade finance.
Your mission:
- Oversee the structuring and negotiation of trade finance deals, with a focus on the African market.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, financial institutions, and regulators.
- Drive the team’s performance, ensuring optimal delivery of services and managing risk in trade transactions.
- Provide strategic insights on market trends, products, and services to senior management.
- Manage and mentor a team of professionals, promoting a high-performance culture.
Your profile:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in trade finance, with a solid track record in structuring complex deals.
- Extensive knowledge of African markets and experience working in the region is a must.
- Management experience is required, with proven success in leading and developing teams.
- Strong understanding of trade finance products, including letters of credit, trade loans, and structured trade finance.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in English
