On behalf of our client – a dynamic trading company in the agricultural products sector, we are looking for a Junior Accountant to join their team in Lausanne, Switzerland. Your mission:
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Support accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance
- Assist with internal financial reporting and external audits
- Collaborate with banks, advisors, and cross-functional teams
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all accounting processes
- Help shape and improve accounting systems and workflows as the company scales
What you bring:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting or financial operations
- A relevant educational background – minimum CFC in accounting, maturité professionnelle commerciale, or equivalent business/accounting training
- Solid foundation in general ledger, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes
- Familiarity with accounting tools (ERP systems such as Abacus, SAP, or similar)
- A collaborative, hands-on approach and a sharp eye for detail
- Fluency in English spoken and written, French is a plus
- A proactive mindset with a readiness to learn and grow within the organization
- Previous exposure to trading or manufacturing environments is a bonus
