We're actively looking for Senior Oil Products Traders with the ability to build a trading desk from scratch, to be based Geneva.
Your mission :
- Develop and implement effective trading strategies for oil products, considering market trends, and supply-demand dynamics
- Develop the trading desk activities for Oil products and spot business niches
- Leverage your network along the company's, and foresee development opportunities
- Handle PnL, mitigate exposure and ensure compliance with risk policies and regulations
- Negotiate and execute trading agreements with counterparties, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
- Perform market watch, reports and maintain relevant communication with internal and external counterparts
Your profile :
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in oil products trading with a proven track record of success
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of global energy markets, geopolitical factors, and industry trends
- Able to bring flows and business plan with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment
- Proficiency in trading platforms and relevant software tools
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), any other language an asset
