Senior Oil Products Trader

We're actively looking for Senior Oil Products Traders with the ability to build a trading desk from scratch, to be based Geneva.
 

Your mission :

  • Develop and implement effective trading strategies for oil products, considering market trends, and supply-demand dynamics
  • Develop the trading desk activities for Oil products and spot business niches
  • Leverage your network along the company's, and foresee development opportunities
  • Handle PnL, mitigate exposure and ensure compliance with risk policies and regulations
  • Negotiate and execute trading agreements with counterparties, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
  • Perform market watch, reports and maintain relevant communication with internal and external counterparts
 

Your profile :

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in oil products trading with a proven track record of success
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of global energy markets, geopolitical factors, and industry trends
  • Able to bring flows and business plan with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment
  • Proficiency in trading platforms and relevant software tools
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), any other language an asset
