Your mission:

  • Identify and secure freight opportunities to complement the company’s cargo flows and tonnage strategy.
  • Leverage internal volumes to identify arbitrage opportunities, optimize vessel employment, and improve profitability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with third-party clients, brokers, shipowners, operators, and charterers, with a focus on European, Atlantic, Mediterranean, Black Sea, LATAM, and Middle Eastern markets.
  • Negotiate freight rates, charter party terms, voyage economics, and commercial conditions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Use FFAs, market intelligence, broker indications, and external price proposals to assess fair market rates and support trading decisions.
  • Work closely with operations to ensure smooth voyage execution, documentation, claims follow-up, and logistics coordination.
  • Monitor freight market trends, vessel availability, cargo demand, port conditions, and freight volatility.
  • Collaborate with internal trading teams to anticipate demand, support physical flows, and identify new freight-led business opportunities.

Your profil:

  • Strong knowledge of international freight markets, ideally with exposure to European and Atlantic Basin flows.

  • Established network of brokers, shipowners, operators, charterers, or industrial clients.
  • Analytical, commercially driven, communicative, and results-oriented.
  • Comfortable using trading platforms, freight market tools, pricing systems, and Excel-based voyage calculations.
