How does the recruitment process work at Ampersand World?
Ampersand World follows a very strict procedure for each recruitment assignment. Our priority is always to protect the interests of our clients and candidates. We have a strict confidentiality policy: we will never send your CV to an employer without your consent and we do not disclose the names of our clients.
For us, every application is important and we will do everything possible to keep you informed of any developments as quickly as possible.
In practical terms, you can apply for vacancies once you have registered on our online platform. Our consultants will review your application and will confirm receipt by email. Depending on the complexity of the post, it will take between two weeks and two months before we are able to update you on how your application is progressing. If your application is successful, we will get in touch and invite you to interview, which may result in you being put forward to our client.
On average, how long does the recruitment process take at Ampersand World?
Once you have submitted your application, our consultants will review it carefully. Depending on the complexity of the post and how quickly our client needs to fill the vacancy, it will take at least 2 weeks following submission before we are able to get back to you with our initial feedback.

We consider all applications and respond to every candidate.
Do you regard professional experience as being of equal importance to qualifications?
Our clients specify the essential criteria for the type of candidate they are looking to recruit. Academic qualifications may be of greater importance in some posts than in others. Generally speaking, professional experience takes precedence in the commodity trading sector.
When I set up my online account, do I have to upload all my documents as well as my CV or can I do this at a later stage?
You can upload your documents later on – only your CV and covering letter are required when applying for a post.
