Job Details

Our client involved in Oil and Gas Trading business is seeking to recruit a Business Assistant.

This position is to work closely with the CEO by helping with the day to day operations and operational and financial planning to ensure an effective and smooth running of the business.

  • Working very closely with the CEO

Records and Report by:

    • Supporting the CEO to prepare information for presentations, reports…
    • Attending meetings and producing follow-up notes
    • Acting on behalf of and representing the CEO as required, including the management of calls, inquiries and requests
    • Updating the CEO on key organizational issues when he is out of the office

Business Follow up:

    • Working and coordinating closely with the Business and Support functions heads to ensure the smooth running of the business
    • Undertaking projects on a regular basis, including event planning, budgets
    • Working with the CEO and Business/Functions Heads to ensure the team meets business planning targets

Schedule Management in liaison with the Executive assistance:

    • Arranging Board of Directors and management meetings (including client meetings) and minutes where required
    • Setting up Business Planning meetings and coordinating all meetings, prioritise items that need attention

Qualifications and experience:

  • Master degree level in Finance
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar position
  • An in-depth knowledge of the Upstream and Downstream Oil & Gas industry
  • Have exceptional attention to detail and possess effective communication skills written and verbal
  • Ability to anticipate needs, think critically and offer solutions to problems
  • Advanced or expert proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets and databases
