Logistics Manager

For one of our clients, a company active in the event industry, we are seeking to recruit a Logistic Manager to be based in Geneva.
 

Your mission :

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure smooth execution of events
• Manage all logistics activities including staff coordination, transportation, warehousing, customs matters, and inventory management
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
• Manage and oversee the work of logistics staff and ensure they are following established protocols and procedures
• Create and maintain a budget for logistics and transportation expenses and ensure expenses are within budgetary constraints
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions
• Continuously monitor and evaluate logistics performance to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements

 

Your profile :

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in events logistics  
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software
• English and German mandatory, both written and spoken
