Logistics Coordinator New  

For one of our clients, a trading company located in the Lausanne area, we are seeking to recruit a Logistics Coordinator.
 

Your mission :

• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure proper execution of orders
• Arrange transportation and freight services, including selecting carriers, negotiating rates, and scheduling shipments
• Prepare shipping documentation, such as bills of lading and customs documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any transportation-related issues
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, suppliers, and carriers regarding logistics-related inquiries
• Communicate updates on order status, delivery schedules, and any relevant information to stakeholders
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management

 

Your profile :

• Degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics coordination or a similar role
• Good knowledge of logistics processes, including order management, transportation, and warehouse operations
• Experience/Knowledge of African markets, an asset
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all logistics-related tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written), any other language an asset
