Rice Trader - MENA

As a Rice Trader with a focus on the MENA region, you will be responsible for buying and selling rice products in the global market for our client, a big player in the commodities world.
 

Your mission :

• Monitor rice market trends, pricing, and supply-demand dynamics to make informed trading decisions
• Identify and establish relationships with rice suppliers to secure a reliable source of quality rice
• Actively seek out potential customers, negotiate contracts, and execute rice trades
• Manage market risks and develop strategies to mitigate price fluctuations and supply disruptions
• Ensure that all rice products meet quality standards and specifications
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and providing excellent service
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure compliance with trade regulations

 

Your profile :

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar position
• Strong knowledge of the rice industry, specifically in origination from Asian and LATAM markets
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to analyze market data and make data-driven decisions
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Proficiency in using trading software and tools
• Fluent in English both written and spoken, any other languages an asset
