Trade Finance Officer

For one of our clients, an expert in oil trading, we are seeking to recruit a Trade Finance Officer who will eventually become assistant to the head of department and/or will manage a team in the near future.

Your mission:

• Assure the daily administration of trade finance operations, bank positions, and payments to third-parties
• Ensure reconciliation, profit-loss, and other related matters with accounting
• Set up and management of lines of credit
• Negotiate and ensure a good relationship with banks
• Coordinate LCs
• Monitor incomes, charges, and interests calculation
• Preparation and review of accounts
• In charge of reporting

 

Your profile:

• Minimum of 7/8 years experience in a trade finance position in a bank (mandatory) and a trading company
• Experience in structured finance, a strong plus
• Ability to create and facilitate project presentations to banks 
• Rigorous and details-oriented
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Fluency in English and French mandatory
• IT literate
