Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst/Project Manager to digitalize our client's processes (oil trading company).

Your mission :

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document current business processes, systems, and workflows
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Conduct data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of existing processes and systems.
  • Translate business needs into clear and concise functional and technical specifications
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive understanding of requirements
  • Assist in the implementation of new systems, enhancements, and process improvements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to implemented systems and processes
  • Analyze trading data, market trends, and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and prepare reports as required by management
  • Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives and deliverables
  • Conduct regular meetings, workshops, and presentations to communicate project updates and gather feedback
  • Build strong relationships and effectively manage expectations with stakeholders at all levels

Your profile :

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, computer science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in oil trading 
  • Solid understanding of oil trading processes, including trade lifecycle, risk management, and pricing mechanisms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex data
  • Proficient in business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to diverse audiences
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and build effective relationships
  • Fluent in English, any other languages an asset
