Ship Broker - Dry Cargo

For one of our clients, we are seeking to recruit a Ship Broker with handymax and supramax expertise to be based in France.
 

Your mission:

• In charge of chartering commercial vessels and manage various cargoes
• Develop customers’ portfolio and ships brokering services for key account customers
• Negotiate chartering contracts and all administrative aspects related to cargoes
• Maintain the database of vessels positions, tonnage, rates and cargoes
• Manage bookings, clients’ demands and ensure trips execution
• Nurture and develop charterers/shipowners commercial relations
• Support clients’ businesses and liaise with strategic stakeholders in-person when needed
• Perform reportings and market watch

 

Your profile:

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience and degree in shipping
• Knowledge of dry cargo market landscape
• Expertise with handymax and supramax handling
• Team player with great communication skills
• Details-oriented with the ability to navigate the unknown
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• French and English mandatory, any other language an asset
