Head of Documentary Credit

For one of our clients, a Bank active in Trade Finance and based in Madagascar, we are seeking to recruit a Back Office Senior Manager.

Your mission:

• Ensure the daily administration of trade finance operations, bank positions, and payments to third-parties
• Manage a large back office team (mainly LC department)
• Ensure reconciliation, profit-loss, and other related matters with accounting
• Teach and train back office team on many different aspects
• Preparation, review of accounts and reporting
• Perform and review trade bookings related to commodities and other banking products on internal systems

 

Your profile:

• Over 10 years of experience in a trade finance position in a bank as Manager of the Back Office (LC's department)
• Between 3 and 6 years of experience as a manager minimum
• Experience in structured finance, a strong plus
• Rigorous and details-oriented 
• Enjoy mentoring people
• Strong leadership skills with excellent communication
• Fluent in English and French mandatory (both written and spoken)
